The Bachelor season 28 contestant Madina Alam has one main remorse about her time vying for Joey Graziadei's heart.

"I'm gonna make this brief and candy. Do I regret using the word 'bully?' Yes," Madina, 31, stated in an Instagram video on Friday, February 9. "Will I all the time use the appropriate phrases on the proper occasions, particularly once I'm feeling plenty of totally different emotions? Absolutely not."

Regardless of that regret, the ABC star made it clear she has no want to take back her conversation with Joey, 28, in the course of the Monday, February 5, episode of The Bachelor.

"[What] I'll by no means ever remorse, even when it provides me backlash, is opening up and being weak," Madina stated in her video, which included screenshots of comments from trolls on-line.

Her response to web critics got here after Monday's episode, which confirmed Madina telling Joey about an experience the place she felt "bullied" within the Bachelor Mansion, referring to an incident with Maria Georgas.

The multiple-episode arc started during week 2 when Sydney Gordon advised Madina that Maria, 29, had made feedback about her in the home. (Madina had previously stated that she was apprehensive about being the oldest contestant this season.)

While Madina and Maria appeared to reconcile at the finish of Monday's episode, her preliminary comments to Joey paved the best way for extra drama. Sydney, 28, and Maria went head-to-head after Sydney alleged that Maria had "verbally attacked her" and referred to as her "embarrassing, bizarre and dumb." Maria, in the meantime, denied those allegations during a dialog with Joey.

Monday's episode ended with Joey providing both ladies a rose, and the promise of a two-on-one date on the horizon.

While fans have quite a bit to say concerning the state of affairs on social media, former Bachelor star Ashley Iaconetti, who initially helped Sydney get on the present, has come to her friend's defense.

"You'd need to assume that Sydney is making that up, that she completely made that up out of thin air and informed Joey about that so she's a liar, or you possibly can assume that you simply just didn't see her saying that on TV," Ashley stated when addressing the state of affairs during her "Virtually Well-known" podcast earlier this week. "However I feel as a result of there's — seemingly — that is all an argument over nothing and it definitely isn't just about Madina and the previous comment, let's simply overlook about that, that does not exist in my thoughts, barely throughout this episode. I feel there's plenty of context missing, and that's what I'll say."

She continued, "I'm not utilizing it as an excuse because I'm saying based mostly on what I see on TV, it looks like an argument about nothing. And I'm positive it's not an argument about nothing."
