A 17-month-old child and a man have each died after the Land Rover they have been travelling in crashed.
The crash occurred at around 8.26am as we speak on Hesketh Lane the village of Tarleton in Lancashire.
The Land Rover Discovery collided with a Mini Cooper before then crashing right into a tree.
The 50-year-old man and baby woman have been both pronounced lifeless at the scene, whereas the Mini driver was taken to hospital with minor accidents.
The street was closed for a number of hours, and now Lancashire Police are interesting for witnesses to get in touch.
Sergeant Matt Davidson stated: 'These are terribly unhappy and tragic circumstances that have resulted in a person, and a young woman dropping their lives this morning.
'Our ideas are very a lot with their loved ones at this terrible time.
