What is One Day about?
Nicholls' novel begins on July 15, 1988, when Dexter and Emma meet on their final night time of University. Hailing from polar opposite backgrounds, the pair strike up an unlikely friendship.
The ebook follows them as they meet up on the same day annually for 20 years, and sees their relationship shift and alter over its course.
One Day Netflix forged
Netflix has tapped The White Lotus Season 2 star Leo Woodall for the position of Dexter. He'll star reverse This Is Going To Harm's Ambika Mod as Emma.
Essie Davis, Tim McInnerny, Amber Grappy, Jonny Weldon, Eleanor Tomlinson, Joely Richardson and Toby Stephens are also hooked up, but their roles are unclear at this stage.
One Day collection release date
Whereas we had half hoped One Day can be launched on June 15, we will rejoice in understanding it'll be out there to stream a lot sooner. The collection will land on Netflix on February eight, 2024 — just in time for Valentine's Day.
