Pictures taken by a mobile phone detection digital camera on the Pacific Motorway in NSW's Northern Rivers region clearly show Frank holding and searching down at one thing in his left hand.

But despite the unconvincing pictures, Frank's adamant he's never even owned a cell phone.

"It seems to be like I'm responsible on it, but I'm not. I don't personal one. I don't use one," he informed A Current Affair.

"I assumed, what the bloody hell is that this all about, I don't personal a cell phone.& I've by no means used a mobile phone. What a load of s**t."

At 77, Frank prefers face-to-face conversations and reading onerous copy newspapers over texting and surfing the internet.
