But trendy oat milk may not be a healthier alternative to cows' milk because it is highly processed and made up mainly of water, a leading expert has warned. For oat milk to lower cholesterol, you would have to drink three glasses of it a day, according to Professor Sarah Berry, an expert in cardiovascular nutrition at King's College London.
